INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE – ADECO ADEGRIP PVC ADHESIVE (65 ml)
1-component polyurethane adhesive for repairing PVC boats and other PVC surfaces (such as kayaks, SUP boards, and similar products where 100% sealing is required).

CONTENTS:

• 2 x repair patches/flaps available in different colors (select color and write your note in the comment when placing the order)

• 2 x 65 ml ADEGRIP PVC adhesive (in tube)

• No additional accessories included (no cleaner, patches, or brush)

• Shelf life in original packaging: 5 years

️ INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. INTENDED USE

ADEGRIP PVC is a 1-component polyurethane adhesive specifically designed for bonding and repairing PVC material products – such as boats, kayaks, SUP boards, tarpaulins, tents, etc.
It forms a flexible, durable, and waterproof bond without the need for any additional hardener or activator.

2. SURFACE PREPARATION

The surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry, and degreased.
It is recommended to clean the area before bonding using alcohol or acetone.
For better adhesion, lightly sand the surface with very fine sandpaper.
If necessary, mark the bonding area with a pen for accurate patch placement.

3. APPLYING THE ADHESIVE

1️⃣ First layer:
Apply a thin layer of adhesive to the damaged area and let it dry for approximately 5 minutes.

2️⃣ Second layer:
Apply a thin layer of adhesive to the patch and let it dry for around 5 minutes.

3️⃣ Third layer:
Once more, apply a thin layer of adhesive to the patch and leave it to dry for 5–10 minutes.

All layers must be very thin to avoid excess adhesive and ensure proper bonding.

4. BONDING

When the adhesive becomes tacky to the touch (not wet), carefully align the patch with the marked area and press it down firmly.
Push out any air bubbles by pressing from the center toward the edges.
Use a roller or a smooth object to apply even pressure.

If necessary, remove excess adhesive with a tissue and an appropriate solvent (e.g., alcohol) – gently.

5. DRYING / CURING

Allow the bonded surface to rest for at least 24 hours before inflating or loading the product.
Full strength and waterproof performance are reached after 72 hours of drying at room temperature.

• P312: Call a POISON CENTER or doctor if you feel unwell

• P370 + P378: In case of fire, use CO₂, extinguishing powder, or water mist

• P501: Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations

STORAGE

• Store at room temperature (15–25 °C)

• Do not expose to freezing temperatures or heat above 40 °C

• Always seal the tube well after use

We recommend using only this tested, professional adhesive from a reputable Italian manufacturer.
Using adhesives from other producers may result in serious damage to your watercraft.
