In combination with the catalyst, it forms a strong, elastic, and waterproof bond.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\" data-start=\"794\" data-end=\"819\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"794\" data-end=\"819\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"797\" data-end=\"819\">SURFACE PREPARATION<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"821\" data-end=\"1074\">The surfaces must be clean, dry, and degreased.<br data-start=\"868\" data-end=\"871\" \/>It is recommended to use ADECO Cleaner 264 or pure alcohol\/aceton.<br data-start=\"937\" data-end=\"940\" \/>Lightly sand the surface with very fine sandpaper.<br data-start=\"990\" data-end=\"993\" \/>Mark the area to be glued with a pencil to ensure the patch is placed accurately.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\" data-start=\"1076\" data-end=\"1105\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1076\" data-end=\"1105\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1079\" data-end=\"1105\">\u2697\ufe0f PREPARATION OF ADHESIVE<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1107\" data-end=\"1352\">Add 5-8% catalyst to the adhesive (5 ml included is sufficient for the entire amount of adhesive).<br data-start=\"1205\" data-end=\"1208\" \/>Mix thoroughly until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.<br data-start=\"1262\" data-end=\"1265\" \/>After mixing, wait for 5 minutes (partial hardening).<br data-start=\"1318\" data-end=\"1321\" \/>Use the mixture within 3 hours.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\" data-start=\"1354\" data-end=\"1380\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1354\" data-end=\"1380\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1357\" data-end=\"1380\">ADHESIVE APPLICATION<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1382\" data-end=\"1666\">1st layer: Apply a thin layer of adhesive to the damaged part of the boat and wait for 5 minutes.<br data-start=\"1479\" data-end=\"1482\" \/>2nd layer: Apply a thin layer to the patch and wait for 5 minutes.<br data-start=\"1548\" data-end=\"1551\" \/>3rd layer: Apply a thin layer to the patch again and let it dry for 5-10 minutes.<br data-start=\"1632\" data-end=\"1635\" \/>All layers should be very thin.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\" data-start=\"1668\" data-end=\"1731\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1668\" data-end=\"1731\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1671\" data-end=\"1731\">REACTIVATION OF THE ADHESIVE (for more demanding repairs)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1733\" data-end=\"1895\">Heat the surface with warm air (hairdryer or IR light) until the adhesive becomes lukewarm to the touch.<br data-start=\"1837\" data-end=\"1840\" \/>Do not overheat \u2013 the goal is reactivation, not drying.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\" data-start=\"1897\" data-end=\"1909\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1897\" data-end=\"1909\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1900\" data-end=\"1909\">GLUING<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1911\" data-end=\"2129\">Precisely align the patch and press it firmly.<br data-start=\"1957\" data-end=\"1960\" \/>Release air bubbles with your thumbs from the center outward.<br data-start=\"2021\" data-end=\"2024\" \/>Use a roller or a piece of wood for better pressure.<br
